Burris
The Burris Xtreme Tactical 1-Piece Base is a solid steel mounting solution engineered for Savage long-action rifles with round receivers. This one-piece design delivers the rigidity and repeatability serious shooters demand when setting up a precision rifle, whether you're dialing elevation from the bench, hunting at distance, or running drills at the range. The 25 MOA inclination built into this base gives you a head start on elevation adjustment—useful if you're already working with a low-power optic or planning to shoot beyond typical hunting ranges.
Machined from a single steel blank rather than assembled from multiple parts, a one-piece base eliminates mechanical interfaces where rings meet rail, meaning zero play and zero shift. That's the foundation of repeatable accuracy. The matte finish resists glare and plays well with modern tactical aesthetics, and it's ready to pair with any Weaver or Picatinny-style ring system you've got in the safe.
Burris designed this base for long-action Savage round receivers, so if that's your platform, fitment is precise. The 25 MOA angle does the geometry work for you, keeping your scope in an optimal dope range without forcing extreme turret positions. Whether you're building a long-range hunting rifle or a tactical setup, this base handles the mounting job without compromise.
| Brand | Burris |
| Type | One-Piece Scope Base |
| Finish | Matte |
| Reticle Mount | Weaver / Picatinny |
| Angle | 25 MOA |
| Fits | Savage Long Action, Round Receiver |
This base is machined for Savage long-action rifles with round receivers. Check that your rifle is a long-action model before ordering—short-action Savages require a different base.
Any Weaver or Picatinny-style rings will mount to this base. That gives you plenty of options across brands and budgets.
The 25 MOA inclination tilts your scope upward, adding elevation adjustment headroom. It's useful for long-range shooting or keeping your turrets in a practical range, but it's not required—it depends on your load, zero, and typical shooting distance. Most hunters won't need it; long-range precision shooters often prefer it.
This is a one-piece base, machined from a single steel blank. That design eliminates joint flex and improves zero stability compared to two-piece bases.
