Buckeye Baits
The Buckeye Mop Jig in 1/2oz Peanut Butter Jelly is a hand-tied casting jig built for bass anglers who want a lure that triggers aggressive bites from aggressive fish. This jig's elongated rubber skirt gives it a distinctive mop-like profile that moves water and catches attention even on subtle presentations. What sets it apart is the head design—it stands upright on the bottom, maintaining a defensive posture that mimics a crayfish or baitfish ready to dart away. That natural positioning means bass see a realistic threat whether you're fishing it actively or letting it rest.
Hand-tied construction means each jig is built to last through hard strikes and repeated casts. The Peanut Butter Jelly color is a proven combination that works across a range of water clarity and seasonal conditions, blending warm and cool tones that appeal to bass year-round. This jig comes rigged with double rattles to add an extra sensory trigger in off-color water or low-light conditions, helping fish locate it even when visibility is limited.
Whether you're flipping around cover, pitching to structure, or casting open water, the Mop Jig is a workhorse that's earned its reputation in competitive and recreational bass fishing alike. The included Mustad Flippin Hook is built tough and sharp enough to set cleanly on the strike.
