Buckeye Baits
The Buckeye Football Mop Jig in 3/4oz Peanut Butter & Jelly is a weighted football jig designed to mimic the look and action of living rubber in the water. Built on Buckeye Baits' proven football jig platform, this offering combines a heavy living rubber skirt with silicone construction to create a full mop-like profile that catches the attention of bass in deep structure and rocky terrain. The substantial skirt displacement and lifelike movement make this jig a solid choice for anglers working deeper water where bass are holding near bottom cover.
What sets this jig apart is the attention to the details that matter in a working lure. The head features a chip-resistant powder-coated gold hybrid finish that holds up through repeated contact with rocks and structure. A healthy weed guard keeps you fishing instead of picking weeds, while the integrated bait keeper lets you quickly secure a soft-plastic trailer to round out your presentation. The Mustad Ultra-Point Flippin' Hook at the business end is sharp and reliable—the kind of terminal tackle you can count on when a bass commits.
The Peanut Butter & Jelly color is versatile enough for a range of conditions and bottom types, making it a natural addition to any deep-water arsenal. Whether you're pitching into laydowns, working rocky banks, or dragging the bottom in standing timber, this jig delivers the mop-style action and durability bass anglers expect from a quality football jig.
