The Browning Camping McKinley 0 Degree Sleeping Bag is an oversized hooded rectangle bag built for hunters and campers who need serious warmth and room to move on brutally cold nights. Rated for 0-degree conditions, this bag combines TechLoft insulation with a two-layer offset construction to eliminate cold spots and maintain consistent heat when the temperature drops. The contoured hood seals in warmth around your head and shoulders—a critical edge when you're spending the night in a tree stand or at base camp in deep winter.

At 36 inches wide and 90 inches long, the McKinley gives you the space that traditional mummy bags don't allow. That extra room means you can shift position, layer up, and actually rest—something you'll appreciate after a long day in the field. The brushed polyester liner feels comfortable against skin, and the 210T nylon diamond ripstop exterior handles rough camp use without tearing. An insulated chest baffle and dual #10 separating zippers let you fine-tune ventilation and open the bag flat if you need to.

Setup and breakdown are hassle-free: the bag rolls up with included straps and stuffs into a compression sack that keeps it compact for transport. Whether you're hunting elk at elevation, running a remote cabin, or overlanding in cold-weather terrain, the McKinley delivers the warmth and comfort you need to actually sleep in the field—and that makes all the difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the McKinley 0 degree sleeping bag good for cold-weather hunting?

Yes. The 0-degree temperature rating and insulated hood make it well-suited for late-season hunting in winter conditions. The oversized cut also lets you layer clothing and move around more than a mummy bag allows, which is important when you're spending extended time in the field.

What's the difference between this bag and a standard mummy sleeping bag?

The McKinley is a rectangle bag rather than tapered mummy-style, giving you 36 inches of width and full 90-inch length for more room to shift position and sleep comfortably. The hooded rectangle design still seals heat around your upper body without the restriction of a mummy bag.

What insulation does the McKinley use, and how does it stay warm?

The bag uses TechLoft Silver insulation, made of multi-hole staple-length micro-denier fibers with a siliconized finish for maximum loft and compactness. A two-layer offset construction eliminates cold spots, and the contoured hood keeps warmth sealed in around your head and shoulders.

Does the McKinley come with a stuff sack?

Yes. The bag includes a compression stuff sack and roll-up straps for easy packing and transport.
