The Alps Mountaineering Blaze 0 Regular Sleeping Bag is a cold-weather sleep system built for backcountry hunters, winter campers, and anyone serious about staying warm in sub-freezing conditions. This 32x80 mummy-cut bag combines a rugged polyester ripstop exterior with a soft polyester liner and TechLoft Silver synthetic insulation—a high-loft, siliconized fiber blend engineered to trap heat and compress down for pack-friendly storage. At 0 degrees, it's rated for genuine mountain and deep-season use where reliability matters.
Alps designed the Blaze with two-layer offset construction and a contoured hood that cinches tight around your head and shoulders, sealing warm air inside where you need it most. An insulated chest panel and zipper baffle add another layer of defense against cold edge leakage—a common weak point in lesser bags. The #8 separating zippers give you flexibility to unzip fully on warmer nights or pair two bags if you need extra insulation. The ripstop fabric stands up to rough camp use, rock edges, and repeated packing without tearing easily.
This is a no-frills, work-hard sleeping bag for hunters dropping into alpine camps, winter backpackers, and anyone who prioritizes warmth and durability over luxury features. The standard stuff sack keeps it compact for your pack, and the regular length fits most riders and hikers without excess bulk. If you're building a sleep system for serious cold-weather adventure, the Blaze 0 earns its place in your gear lineup.
