Brownells
The Brownells Special Line Dewey Brush in 7mm rifle is a 12-pack of purpose-built bore brushes designed to thread directly onto Dewey coated cleaning rods—no adapter hunting required. Built with phosphor bronze bristles that deliver genuine cleaning power without compromising your barrel, these brushes are made for shooters who want efficiency and protection in one straightforward tool. Whether you're running a dedicated 7mm bolt-action, an AR platform in 7mm-08, or anything in between, having a dozen brushes on hand means you're always ready for range day or field maintenance without interruption.
The design simplifies the cleaning workflow. The one-piece brass shank is looped and wound—no sharp edges to catch your barrel's crown or rifling. Thread them straight onto your Dewey rod and get to work. The phosphor bronze bristles resist corrosion and hold up through repeated use, so you won't be replacing brushes constantly. For dedicated 7mm rifle shooters, buying in bulk like this makes sense; keep a brush in your range bag, your truck, and your cleaning kit without breaking stride.
These brushes carry 8-36 female threads, matching Dewey rods and other cleaning systems that use the standard thread pitch for rifle calibers .22 through 6.5mm. If you're already running a Dewey rod setup, this 12-pack integrates seamlessly. Stock up, and you'll have a brush ready whenever you need one—no searching, no lost adapters, just dependable bronze bristles ready to scrub.

Yes. These Special Line brushes thread directly onto Dewey coated rods with 8-36 female threads, eliminating the need for a separate adapter.
The 8-36 female thread pitch is standard for rifle calibers .22 through 6.5mm, which includes most common rifle cartridges in that range.
Phosphor bronze resists corrosion, lasts longer through repeated cleaning cycles, and scrubs effectively without the risk of scratching barrel steel or fouling rifling grooves like steel bristles might.
You receive 12 individual 7mm rifle brushes, each with a brass shank and phosphor bronze bristles, ready to thread onto your Dewey rod system.
