Brownells
The Brownells Special Line Dewey Brush in .45 caliber rifle size cuts out one of the most annoying steps in gun cleaning: hunting for thread adapters. These 12 brushes thread directly onto Dewey Coated rods, which means you keep more time on cleaning and less time fumbling with loose parts. If you run a Dewey rod system and want brushes that simply work without the adapter shuffle, this is your setup.
Built from phosphor bronze wire bristles, these brushes deliver the cleaning power rifle bores demand without the harshness that can wear out too quickly. The brass shank and coupler are looped and wound solid—no seams, no weak points, and zero risk of a scratch inside your barrel. That matters when you're caring for a precision rifle or any gun you want to keep in top condition for years.
The 12-pack means you'll have backups on hand, so you're not caught without the right brush mid-session. At 3.35 inches overall, these are sized to work inside the action and bore without excessive overhang. If you're already invested in Dewey rod cleaning systems, swapping to Special Line brushes removes friction from your maintenance routine.
