Bravo Company
The Bravo Company M16 Bolt Carrier Group in Flat Dark Earth is a fully assembled, mil-spec auto BCG engineered for AR15, M16, and M4 platforms. Built to exacting USGI specifications and put through rigorous quality control—including high-pressure testing, magnetic particle inspection, and function testing—this is the kind of carrier you trust in a duty rifle or serious build. The FDE finish combines practical performance with a modern aesthetic without compromising reliability.
The carrier itself is parkerized on the exterior and chrome-lined inside, paired with a properly staked, chrome-lined gas key secured with Grade 8 fasteners. The bolt assembly is machined from Carpenter No. 158 steel, shot peened for strength, and fitted with a tool steel extractor and ejector. BCM's proprietary extractor spring and HPT/MPI processing ensure function across thousands of rounds. The Ion Bond coating on the FDE carrier reduces friction, speeds cleanup, and resists corrosion—practical details that matter during long range sessions or field use.
Because this BCG has been test fired and inspected at the factory, you'll see handling marks that are badges of quality control, not defects. Drop this into a properly spec'd upper and lower, run it wet or dry, and it will work. That's what mil-spec done right feels like.
| Brand | Bravo Company |
| Type | Auto Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) |
| Finish | Flat Dark Earth (FDE) with Ion Bond coating |
| Material (Bolt) | Carpenter No. 158 steel, shot peened |
| Material (Carrier) | Chrome-lined interior, parkerized exterior |
| Compatibility | AR15, M16, M4 |
| Inspection | HPT (High Pressure Tested) and MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected) |
Yes. The Bravo Company M16 BCG is designed for AR15, M16, and M4 platforms. It's machined to USGI specs and will function properly in any of these mil-spec receivers.
The FDE version uses an Ion Bond coating on the carrier, which reduces friction compared to standard parkerized finishes. This makes cleaning easier and provides additional corrosion resistance. The coating is both functional and gives it a modern appearance.
HPT (High Pressure Tested) and MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) are mil-spec quality control procedures that verify the bolt and carrier can handle extreme pressure and have no internal defects. Every BCM bolt carrier group is subjected to both tests before it ships, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions.
The marks you see are normal and expected. Every BCM bolt carrier group is test fired for function and inspected as part of quality control before shipping. These handling marks are evidence that your BCG has been verified to work properly.
