The Bore-Nado 70590 Precision Rifle Cleaning Tool for 260-6.5mm Calibers is a purpose-built bore rope designed for hunters and precision shooters working with mid-range calibers. Whether you're running a 260 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor, or 264 Winchester Magnum, this tool offers a fast, effective way to scrub copper fouling and carbon buildup from your rifle barrel without the mess of traditional patches and rods. If you shoot 6.5mm or 260-class rifles regularly—whether at the range, in the field, or for competition—a dedicated cleaning rope saves time and keeps your bore in top shape between deeper cleanings.
Bore ropes work by passing back and forth through the barrel, using the rope's texture and your bore solvent to break up stubborn deposits. They're gentler on bore crowns than rod-based systems and require minimal additional equipment—just solvent, a pull-through motion, and you're done. This is the kind of maintenance tool that lives in your range bag or truck bed and actually gets used, because it's so much faster than running patches one by one.
Bore-Nado tools are built for shooters who don't cut corners on rifle care. If you're the type who cleans your rifle properly and regularly, this is a solid addition to your cleaning kit—especially if you run multiple rifles in the same caliber family and want a dedicated tool that fits right.
This tool is designed for 260 Remington, 6.5mm, and 264 Winchester Magnum barrels.
Pull the rope back and forth through your barrel with your preferred bore solvent applied. The rope's texture scrubs the bore walls as it passes through. It's a quick way to break up fouling without running individual patches.
A bore rope is a fast maintenance tool between deeper cleanings. It's excellent for removing loose fouling and carbon, but it's not a substitute for thorough cleaning with brushes and patches when you need a complete restoration.
