Blakemore
The Blakemore Road Runner Head Barbed 1/8 4ct in Chartreuse is a compact jig head built for crappie anglers who want a proven, reliable underspin setup. This four-pack gives you chartreuse heads ready to rig with your favorite soft plastics—whether you're working shallow structure, submerged timber, or open water where crappie congregate. The Road Runner's simple, time-tested design has caught generations of crappie, and it remains a workhorse choice for both spring spawning runs and summer patterns.
What sets this head apart is the collar barb, engineered to lock your plastic in place and reduce slippage on the cast and during the fight. If you prefer to run smaller or different soft plastics, the barb is removable—a small detail that keeps your options open without forcing you to buy multiple head styles. The bleeding bait hook mimics natural forage and appeals to crappie's feeding instincts, while the Indiana blade adds flash and vibration to trigger bites even in murky or low-light conditions.
At 1/8 ounce, this size hits the sweet spot for vertical jigging, shallow flats, and moderate current. Chartreuse is a reliable color choice in stained water and overcast conditions, making it a sensible addition to any crappie tackle box. Whether you're fishing from a dock, boat, or bank, having four heads on hand means you can keep moving when one snags or gets bitten off.

Yes. The Road Runner Head is a dedicated crappie jig with a bleeding bait hook and Indiana blade specifically chosen for crappie patterns and water conditions.
1/8 ounce is ideal for shallow to moderate depth fishing—vertical jigging, flats work, and areas with light to moderate current. It won't reach deep structure efficiently, but it excels in the shallow and mid-depth zones where crappie often feed.
The removable collar barb gives you flexibility. Leave it on to lock larger soft plastics in place; remove it when you want to fish smaller bodies or different plastic configurations without the barb getting in the way.
