Black Rain Ordnance
The Black Rain Ordnance Fusion 5.56 rifle is a no-nonsense direct impingement AR-15 built on a forged aluminum receiver set that meets Spec15 standards. With its 16-inch 4150 chromoly barrel and bronze battleworn finish, this rifle balances practical versatility with understated durability—whether you're training at the range, hunting, or running drills at home. Black Rain Ordnance designed the Fusion as a reliable workhorse that doesn't ask for much and delivers consistently.
This rifle comes configured for shooters who value function over flash. The direct impingement gas system uses a .750-inch low profile non-adjustable gas block, keeping the platform simple and fieldable. You get a mil-spec G.I. trigger paired with a salt bath nitride-coated bolt carrier group—parts chosen for durability rather than frills. The handguard is a slim 12-inch M-LOK design, giving you mounting flexibility without excess weight or bulk. An A2 flash hider rounds out the muzzle, a proven design that suppresses flash signature and has worked on millions of rifles for good reason.
Ergonomics come courtesy of Magpul-made furniture: the MFT EPG16 grip sits comfortable in your hand during extended shooting, and the MFT Minimalist stock offers a light, adjustable cheek weld. At 7 pounds 3 ounces, the Fusion sits in that sweet spot—heavy enough to be controllable, light enough to carry all day. The overall length of 34 inches makes it handy in tight quarters without sacrificing sight radius or balance. This is the kind of rifle that works whether you're chasing accuracy at distance, running transitions on steel, or keeping it as a reliable defensive option.
