Bill Lewis Baits
The Bill Lewis Rattle Trap 1/2 Silverado Sparkle is a lipless crankbait built to cover water fast and trigger strikes from aggressive bass. This half-ounce bait combines the proven hunting profile of the Rattle Trap design with a flashy Silverado Sparkle finish that cuts through stained water and draws attention from fish at distance. Whether you're working shallow grass flats, grinding through deep structure, or anywhere in between, this versatile crankbait delivers the noise and flash that provokes reaction bites.
Cast-and-crank presentations work best in shallower zones where you can work the bait steadily along the bottom, but the Rattle Trap excels in multiple scenarios. Drop it on deep points and underwater structure, let it sink to the bottom, then burn it back up the slope—the bait bangs off rocks and obstructions on the way, creating the commotion that draws strikes. The internal rattle and compact profile make it especially lethal threaded through shallow grass beds where bass lie in ambush, ready to hammer anything that looks like an easy meal.
The Silverado Sparkle finish is designed to reflect light and create visual appeal in a range of water conditions. At half an ounce, this bait achieves the right balance of castability and depth penetration for both shallow and mid-depth fishing. Rattle Trap's reputation is built on simple, effective design that works—loud, flashy, and built to get bit.
