Betts Tackle
The Betts Falls Fly Chartreuse/Black Size 6 is a surface popper built to create commotion and trigger strikes from hungry bass and pike. Its slender profile and vibrant rubber feelers produce the kind of erratic surface disturbance that gets predatory fish's attention—especially in low-light conditions or weedy cover where a high-visibility chartreuse and black color scheme cuts through the noise. This is a working fly, not a showpiece, designed for anglers who want reliable topwater action without overthinking it.
What sets this popper apart is how the rubber feelers flex and undulate with each strip, creating that subtle wiggle that separates a realistic baitfish imitation from lifeless rubber. The scale finish adds visual appeal and detail that helps the fly track true and move naturally through the water column. Built on a Mustad hook—a proven standard in fly fishing—you get a reliable hookset without worrying about bend-out or breakage on solid takes.
Whether you're working a shallow bay, targeting cover on a spring creek, or throwing poppers in the early morning when the bass are feeding aggressively, the Betts Falls Fly earns its place in your box as a dependable, effective choice. Size 6 is a versatile offering that balances visibility and castability for most freshwater popper scenarios.

This popper is well-suited for bass and pike in freshwater environments. The vibrant chartreuse and black colors and surface disturbance appeal to aggressive predators, especially in low-light conditions.
The Betts Falls Fly's slender body and rubber feelers are designed to create a realistic wiggle and vibration on the surface. The rubber feelers flex with each strip, producing movement that looks more lifelike than rigid foam or cork poppers.
Size 6 is a standard freshwater popper size that works well with medium-weight fly rods commonly used for bass and pike fishing. Confirm your rod's line weight and casting capacity against the fly's overall weight and wind resistance.
You receive one Betts Falls Fly Chartreuse/Black Size 6 popper, ready to tie to your leader.
