The Berger Target Bullets 22 Cal 90gr VLD HPBT offers competitive shooters and precision reloaders a proven design engineered for flat trajectories and minimal wind deflection. Built around a secant ogive geometry, these .22 caliber projectiles are designed to cut through air with reduced drag, translating to flatter shooting performance downrange. The 90-grain weight in this 100-count box sits in the sweet spot for 22 centerfire applications where precision matters—whether you're dialing in at the range or competing in long-range matches.

Berger's VLD (Very Low Drag) Target line has earned a strong reputation among competitive shooters and serious handloaders for good reason: the aerodynamic profile minimizes velocity loss over distance and keeps windage correction minimal. The secant ogive design is the core of that advantage, allowing these bullets to retain energy and accuracy potential through the entire flight. Each bullet is formed with Berger's J4 Precision bullet jacket, built to tight tolerances for the consistency that separates competitive loads from casual plinking rounds.

For single-shot precision rifle work, these bullets are commonly loaded touching the rifling, though some rifles may prefer up to .150" clearance—part of the load development process that makes handloading rewarding. Whether you're working up loads for a custom 22 centerfire or fine-tuning an existing setup, the VLD Target's reputation for consistency and ballistic performance makes them a natural choice. This 100-count box gives you enough volume to develop and test loads properly.
