Bergara
The Bergara B-14R Trainer in .22 WMR is a full-size rimfire precision rifle built to deliver centerfire-class accuracy and handling at a fraction of the cost per round. Designed from the ground up for competitive shooters, practice, and training, the B-14R gives you a rifle that feels and functions like your centerfire platform—but lets you shoot affordably in your own backyard or local range. Whether you're preparing for NRL22 matches, honing long-range fundamentals, or introducing new shooters to precision rifle discipline, this .22 WMR build offers the same ergonomics and customization potential as rifles that cost three times as much.
The rifle's Rem 700–compatible platform means you can swap triggers, stocks, and accessories from your existing centerfire setup without guesswork. The 18-inch barrel wears a threaded muzzle (1/2-28 with protector), and the free-floated design ensures consistency shot to shot. An 18-inch tube keeps things handy while the full-length integrated mini-chassis provides rock-solid bedding and repeatability—no surprises when you step to the line or transition between rifles. The .22 WMR cartridge delivers more velocity and wind-bucking power than .22 LR, making it a credible trainer for wind reading and ballistic precision without the noise and recoil of centerfire.
Bergara's HMR stock combines modern ergonomics with practical features: adjustable cheek piece and length-of-pull let you dial in fit for your body and optic setup, while integrated flush-cup sling mounts and swivel mounts mean you're ready to shoot how you want. The 10-round AICS-style magazine slots into the same footprint as short-action centerfire mags, reinforcing that familiar workflow. At 8.1 lbs, it's balanced without being heavy—a rifle you'll actually run through drills without fatigue.
This is a rifle for shooters who take their training seriously and refuse to leave precision on the bench. If you're tired of chasing deals on ammo or driving hours to find a suitable range, the B-14R in .22 WMR bridges the gap between cost-effective practice and real performance.
