Bergara
The Bergara B-14 22LR Trainer is a left-handed precision rimfire rifle built for shooters who want to dial in their long-range skills without the cost and logistics of centerfire practice. This 18-inch steel-barreled bolt-action trainer is purpose-built around the Remington 700 platform, so it handles and feels like the centerfire rifle in your safe—or can be configured as an exact clone of it. That familiar ergonomics and compatibility make it an ideal platform for competitive shooters breaking into NRL22 and PRS 22 matches, as well as anyone looking to practice precision shooting techniques affordably, whether at an established range or in areas where long-distance centerfire shooting isn't practical.
Built on Bergara's reputation for accuracy, the B-14 22LR features a No. 6 taper barrel with a 1:16 twist and a threaded muzzle (1/2-28 with protector included). The left-hand action keeps your dominant hand on the trigger and your support hand on the fore-end exactly where it needs to be. The stock incorporates a full-length integrated mini-chassis for solid, repeatable bedding and a fully free-floated barrel—details that matter when you're training on precision fundamentals. An adjustable cheek piece and length-of-pull help you dial in your position, while flush-cup sling mounts and swivel points are integrated into Bergara's HMR stock.
Because this rifle follows Rem 700 architecture, it accepts standard short-action AICS-style magazines (the included 10-round single-stack mag fits the same footprint) and works with the vast aftermarket ecosystem of Rem 700 compatible stocks, bases, and triggers. That means you're not locked into proprietary parts—you can customize and experiment as you refine your technique. At 9.2 lbs with an overall length of 38 inches (with spacers), it's a manageable trainer that won't exhaust you during a long range session.
