Bergara
The Bergara B-14 Ridge .308 Winchester 18" 4R bolt-action rifle brings Spanish gunmaking heritage to North American hunters who demand accuracy without the custom-rifle price tag. Built at Bergara's automated barrel facility in Spain, this mid-size hunting rifle combines the company's reputation for precision barrels with a smooth, purpose-built action and synthetic stock designed to perform in real hunting conditions.
The B-14 Ridge centers on Bergara's own two-lug action—a time-tested design with a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech that ensures reliable feeding and extraction every shot. The rifle ships with a Bergara Performance Trigger tuned for a crisp, clean break. Its #5 4140 CrMo steel barrel is finished in Graphite Black Cerakote and threaded 5/8-24 to accept suppressors or muzzle brakes, giving you options for noise management or recoil control. The entire barreled action sits on a molded synthetic stock reinforced with integral epoxy pillars for solid bedding and consistent accuracy. A SoftTouch coating keeps your grip secure even in wet or cold conditions, and the dark gray base color with flecks resists showing dirt and wear in the field.
Factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 bases and rings, the Ridge accepts standard optic mounts without modification. The hinged floor plate magazine accepts 4 rounds of standard cartridges, making it ideal for most big-game hunting scenarios. Weighing between 7.2 and 7.7 pounds depending on your specific configuration, it balances enough heft for recoil management with enough lightness for a day spent glassing and hiking.
Whether you're after elk, deer, or hogs, the B-14 Ridge delivers the accuracy and durability you need without forcing you to choose between quality and value. It's a no-nonsense rifle built by people who understand what serious hunters require.
