Bergara
The Bergara B-14 Wilderness HMR .308 Win bolt-action rifle is purpose-built for hunters who spend serious time in the backcountry. This rifle splits the difference between Bergara's entry-level and premium lines, delivering accuracy and weather resistance without cutting corners on reliability. The woodland camo stock with hand-painted finish and textured webbing helps you blend into the terrain, while the Sniper Grey Cerakote barrel and action stand up to the elements—mud, snow, rain, or dust won't slow you down.
The HMR platform centers on Bergara's proven two-lug action paired with a world-renowned No. 6 barrel crowned with a multi-ported muzzle brake that cuts felt recoil by up to 35 percent. That matters on long days in the field. The integrated mini-chassis molded into the stock delivers repeatable bedding for consistent accuracy shot after shot. You get a smooth Bergara Performance Trigger from the factory, plus an AICS-style detachable magazine—5 rounds for .308 Win—that lets you reload fast and run spares without fumbling with internal boxes.
Setup is straightforward: the rifle comes drilled and tapped for standard Remington 700 rings and bases, so mounting glass is simple. The HMR stock includes adjustable cheek piece and length-of-pull spacers to dial in your fit, and integrated QD flush cups for sling attachment. At 9.5–9.9 lbs with barrel lengths from 20–26 inches, the rifle stays reasonably packable while maintaining the velocity and sight radius serious hunters demand. This isn't a truck-gun compromise—it's a mountain rifle engineered for the real work of wilderness hunting.
