Bergara
The Bergara B-14 Wilderness HMR .300 PRC bolt-action rifle is built for hunters who demand both performance and durability in unforgiving terrain. This rifle bridges practical accuracy with real-world backcountry toughness—hand-painted woodland camo stock, Sniper Grey Cerakote barrel, and a feature set designed to keep you shooting reliably when conditions turn harsh. Whether you're glassing remote ridges or pushing deep into public land, the Wilderness HMR delivers the precision and weather resistance serious hunters expect without the bloated price tag of a custom build.
The heart of this rifle is Bergara's integrated mini-chassis molded into the stock, which locks down the action for repeatable accuracy shot after shot. The two-lug B-14 action features a coned bolt nose and breech, paired with a sliding plate extractor, for smooth and reliable feeding of .300 PRC ammunition. A Bergara Performance Trigger gives you a clean, predictable break. The No. 6 Bergara barrel comes threaded 5/8-24 and topped with an omnidirectional, multi-ported muzzle brake engineered to reduce felt recoil by up to 35 percent—a genuine comfort advantage on longer hunts or repeated range sessions. The Sniper Grey Cerakote finish on the barrel stands up to dust, rain, and the general abuse of field use.
Ergonomics matter on long hunts. This rifle ships with an adjustable cheek piece and length-of-pull spacers so you can dial in fit for your frame and gear. Integrated QD flush cups keep sling attachment clean and snag-free. The 5-round AICS-style detachable magazine lets you load quickly and swap ammunition type if the hunt demands it. The action is factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 bases, making scope mounting straightforward with standard rings. Overall length runs 40–47.5 inches depending on configuration, and the rifle weighs in at 9.5–9.9 lbs—light enough to pack miles, substantial enough to shoot steady from field positions.
If you're tired of hunting with a rifle that feels like it was designed for a gun club lounge, the B-14 Wilderness HMR asks a simple question: why compromise? Real camo, real barrel, real trigger, real accuracy. No hype, no nonsense—just a rifle that earns its place in your hunting pack.
