Bear & Son Cutlery
The Bear & Son Rancher Sideliner folding knife pairs classic American cutlery tradition with everyday carry practicality. This 3-3/8" drop point blade folder is built for the working hand—whether you're processing game, breaking down boxes on the ranch, or just tackling routine camp tasks. The stag bone handle gives it character without the fussiness, and the USA-made construction reflects Bear & Son's long reputation for honest, durable blades that earn their keep.
D2 tool steel holds an edge well and sharpens easily, making it a solid choice for general-purpose cutting. The drop point profile is a versatile shape that balances tip strength with belly for slicing, so you get a blade that won't fail you when you need a knife. At 3 ounces with a closed length of 4-1/4", it slides into a pocket without bulk or weight penalty, yet opens to a practical 7-5/8" overall length when you need reach and leverage.
The sideliner design and ball bearing action keep the blade responsive and smooth, while the deep carry pocket clip (tip-up) sits low and secure. The high-polished blade isn't just pretty—it sheds debris and shows you exactly what you're cutting. If you hunt, ranch, camp, or simply work with your hands and want a folding knife that doesn't apologize for being straightforward, this one deserves a place in your lineup.

Yes. D2 is a tool steel that takes and holds an edge without fussiness, and it sharpens readily on a whetstone or honing steel, making field maintenance straightforward.
Drop point is one of the most versatile blade shapes—the curved belly gives you slicing power, the straight spine provides spine-up cutting control, and the moderately tapered tip is durable enough for camp work without being fragile. It's equally at home processing game, cutting cordage, or breaking down food at camp.
The knife ships as specified in the product details. For sharpening status or any included accessories beyond the knife itself, contact Bosque Outdoors directly.
