Battle Arms Development
The Battle Arms Enhanced Single-Sided Safety Selector for AR-15 and AR-10 rifles puts a textured, oversized paddle exactly where you need it—on the right side of the receiver. If you've ever fumbled with a standard safety lever under stress or in poor light, you know the value of a control that's intuitive to find and positive to operate. This isn't about ambidextrous operation for its own sake; it's about giving right-hand-dominant shooters a bigger, more tactile target when they need to go hot or safe, fast.
Built from investment-cast 8620 carbon steel and heat-treated for durability, the Battle Arms safety lever wears a matte black phosphate finish that blends seamlessly with most black-anodized AR receivers. The lever itself is deeply textured—substantial enough to manipulate decisively with your thumb or trigger finger, without the bulk or complexity of a full ambidextrous system. Installation is straightforward: you keep your rifle's existing safety screw and swap in only the lever, so there's no need to buy a complete assembly if your lower is already set up.
Whether you're building a hunting rifle, a 3-gun competition gun, or a home-defense AR, a safety selector is one of those details that matters more in the moment than it does on a spec sheet. The Battle Arms single-side design respects that reality—giving you genuine ergonomic advantage without unnecessary complexity or cost. Compatible with mil-spec AR-15 lowers and Armalite AR-10 semi-auto 2-position configurations.
