Battle Arms Development
The Battle Arms Pro Ambidextrous Safety Selector for AR-15 is a fully modular, reversible control upgrade built for shooters who demand both convenience and dependability. Whether you're a southpaw tired of adapting to right-handed controls, a competitive shooter switching between dominant and support hands, or simply someone who values quick, ambidextrous access, this Battle Arms Development selector eliminates the compromise. Unlike budget ambi safeties that wobble or demand receiver modifications, the BAD-ASS-PRO ships ready to run on virtually any mil-spec AR-15 lower with optional throw-angle configurations that work with any compatible trigger.
The standout engineering here centers on reliability without fuss. The patent-pending internal locking mechanism uses a 5/64" self-locking set screw—no threadlocker needed, no stripped heads, no sheared fasteners. You get positive lever detent and confidence in every manipulation. The reversible center accepts both a standard-throw lever and a shorter short-throw option, both fully interchangeable, so you can dial in ergonomics without permanent modifications. Swiss CNC machined from hardened steel and finished in black phosphate, the core delivers precision and durability typical of duty-grade controls. A short-throw marking sticker is included, meaning older lower receivers without relief cuts adapt instantly.
What ships in the box reflects thoroughness: both lever lengths, two set screws, hardened stainless detent, the detent spring, and an L-key for installation. It's manufactured in the USA and backed by Battle Arms Development's limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This is a selector for shooters who value made-here quality and honest engineering over hype.

The BAD-ASS-PRO is compatible with all mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers, whether or not they have a short-throw relief cut. If you're using the short-throw option on a lower without the factory FIRE marking, the included sticker provides the necessary visual reference. It also works with any trigger designed to function with standard mil-spec AR-15 semi-auto safeties, including Hiperfire, Geissele, CMC, Timney, and others.
Each kit includes a reversible safety center (switchable between 0°–60° and 0°–90° throw), a standard lever, a short lever, two 8-32 × 1/4" set screws, a 5/64" hex L-key for installation, a hardened stainless detent, a detent spring, and a short-throw fire marking sticker.
Both the standard and short levers are fully interchangeable and included. Changing levers requires only the provided L-key to adjust the set screw. The reversible center itself accommodates both throw angles, so you have the flexibility to configure your preferred angle and lever length.
The patent-pending internal locking mechanism uses a 5/64" hex set screw designed to resist stripping. The dovetail attachment and self-locking design eliminate the risk of sheared screw heads, and no threadlocker is required—the screw is self-locking.
