The Auto Ordnance Thompson M1 .45 ACP is a semi-automatic rifle that channels the legendary heritage of America's most iconic military firearm into a civilian-legal platform. Built with genuine craftsmanship—milled steel frame and receiver, American walnut furniture, and blued steel finish—this 16.5" barreled rifle delivers authentic Thompson handling and aesthetics for shooters and collectors who appreciate historical significance alongside modern reliability. At 11.5 pounds and 38 inches overall, it's a substantial, purposeful rifle that commands respect on the range or in the field.
This version is specifically configured for compliance in restricted states, shipping with a 10-round magazine and 16.5" smooth barrel. The side-charging bolt action, fixed blade front sight, and battle rear sight maintain the Thompson's unmistakable profile, while the vertical foregrip and fixed walnut stock provide solid control and a classic shooting platform. Whether you're a serious collector honoring the gun's storied past, a .45 ACP enthusiast seeking a unique semi-auto rifle experience, or a shooter drawn to American manufacturing heritage, the Thompson M1 offers substance and character that mass-produced alternatives simply don't match.
Auto Ordnance has long understood that a Thompson isn't just another rifle—it's a piece of American firearms history. The attention to detail in materials and fit reflects that respect. This isn't a tribute act; it's a genuine extension of the original's legacy, adapted for today's legal landscape without compromising the gun's identity or feel.
