AeroPrecision
The Aero Precision Atlas S-One 14.94" handguard with M-Lok is engineered for shooters building lightweight AR-15s without sacrificing strength or modularity. This free-float design isolates the barrel from the handguard, improving accuracy by removing contact pressure that can shift point of impact. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the S-One keeps weight down where it matters—at the muzzle—while Aero's proprietary ATLAS attachment system delivers rock-solid indexing and repeatable installation every time.
The ATLAS system uses mirrored tapered locking nuts and a turnbuckle screw to apply even clamping pressure across a custom-engineered barrel nut, avoiding the handguard distortion common with other mounting designs. A ratcheting detent locks everything in place with positive registration. All hardware is included, so you're ready to install straight out of the box. At 7.95 oz for the 15" handguard (plus 1.9 oz of mounting hardware), this rail won't weigh down a precision build or a hunting rifle where every ounce counts.
The 14.94" length provides ample real estate for mounting optics, lights, and slings while maintaining a trim profile. M-Lok slots run the length of the rail, giving you tool-free attachment options at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for a quick-disconnect sling socket. A front and rear picatinny rail stay intact; the center top rail is eliminated to shed weight. Indexing grooves at 12 o'clock deliver positive grip control, and the 1.3" inside diameter clears low-profile gas blocks. Compatible with mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers and barrels—just note that it is not compatible with Aero's M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver.

| Compatibility | Mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers and barrels |
The Atlas S-One is compatible with mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers and barrels. However, it is not compatible with Aero Precision's M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver. If you use a billet upper receiver from another manufacturer, verify compatibility before purchase, as indexing tabs may create fitment issues.
Aero measures handguard length from the point of contact at the receiver to the end of the last picatinny slot at the muzzle. The 14.94" designation corresponds to an actual 15" length.
All hardware needed for installation with the ATLAS attachment system is included—the tapered locking nuts, barrel nut, turnbuckle screw, and ratcheting detent. You won't need to source additional components.
Yes. The handguard's 1.3" inside diameter is designed to clear low-profile gas blocks, making it suitable for lightweight and compact builds.
