Rock Island Armory
Rock Island Armory
The Rock Island Armory Pro Match Ultra 6 is a competition-ready 10mm pistol built for shooters who demand precision and reliability on the range. Crafted by master gunsmiths in Rock Island's Medallion shop, this target-grade gun arrives properly tuned for match performance—no gunsmithing required. The 6-inch barrel, adjustable trigger, and premium sights make it a natural choice for competitive pistol shooters and serious 10mm enthusiasts who won't compromise on accuracy.
Every detail here speaks to competition design. The fiber-optic front sight paired with an LPA adjustable rear sight gets you on target fast, while the full-length picatinny rail opens the door to optics, lights, or lasers if you want them. The skeletonized hammer reduces mass and adds that refined, purposeful look you'd expect from a match pistol. Factory trigger breaks at 4 to 6 pounds with an adjustable over travel stop—tuned for the kind of control you need when precision counts. At 2.49 pounds unloaded, it's manageable without feeling light or twitchy.
The parkerized finish on both frame and slide is classic Rock Island—practical, durable, and unpretentious. Rubber grips provide reliable purchase in sustained firing, and the 8-round capacity is standard for 10mm single-stack 1911-pattern guns. Whether you're running a local IPSC match or working up loads at the bench, the Pro Match Ultra 6 gives you a rock-solid platform that's ready to work.
