Knights Armament
The Knights Armament AR-15 flip-up adjustable tactical micro rear sight is built for shooters who demand reliability at distance. KAC's micro iron sights are trusted by U.S. Army and Marine Corps units, as well as law enforcement agencies worldwide, because they hold zero under hard use and fold flat to clear your rail real estate. Unlike bulky backup sights, the KAC 600 meter rear sight maintains one of the lowest profiles in the industry when stowed—critical if you're running optics or planning to transition between iron and glass.
The 600-meter rated design centers on a finger-adjustable rotating drum that lets you dial targets from 200 to 600 meters without tools. That rotating drum is the heart of the system: spin it to engage at different ranges with genuine speed and precision. The sight comes blacked out, matching most AR setups, and the tactile click-adjustments work in gloves. Because it's made to exacting tolerances, your zero won't walk when you're moving fast or dealing with temperature swings—essential for duty, hunting, or serious range work where repeatability matters.
Setup is straightforward if you follow the zeroing procedure: establish your baseline at 25 meters on the "Z" setting, adjust front post and windage as needed, then confirm at 300 meters if you can. Alternatively, a 50-meter zero on the "2" setting can be confirmed at 200 meters. Once locked in, the drum indexing means fast, reliable target engagement without fidgeting. This is a no-nonsense backup or primary iron sight for AR-15 platforms.

Yes. The flip-up design stows flat with one of the lowest rail profiles in its class, so it won't interfere with mounted scopes or red dots when folded. It's ideal as a backup iron sight alongside optics.
KAC provides two zeroing paths depending on your range access. The 25/300-meter zero places your target 25 meters downrange, adjusts on the "Z" setting, then confirms at 300 meters. The 50/200-meter zero uses the "2" setting at 50 meters, confirmed at 200 meters. Choose whichever matches your available distance.
Yes. The rotating drum is finger-adjustable, and the windage knob can be turned by hand. No special tools are required for sight adjustments.
Knights Armament's micro iron sights are in active use by the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and law enforcement agencies. This 600-meter rear sight follows the same design and tolerance standards that make those sights reliable in the field.
