Advanced Armament Company
The AAC Blackout Muzzle Brake 90-Tooth Mk13-SD Suppressor Mount is a purpose-built muzzle device engineered for shooters running the Advanced Armament Company Mk13-SD suppressor on 7.62mm rifles. If you're already invested in AAC's 90-tooth suppressor ecosystem, this brake locks your can onto your barrel with precision-engineered repeatability while taming recoil and muzzle rise. It's machined from aerospace-grade steel and finished with AAC's SCARmor coating—tough enough to handle serious use, corrosion-resistant enough to stay reliable in variable conditions.
This is a suppressor mount first, a muzzle brake second. The primary job is keeping your Mk13-SD or 300-SD suppressor precisely aligned shot after shot, and the brake function helps manage the additional recoil impulse you'll feel when running unsuppressed. The included Rocksett and shim kit gives you the flexibility to dial in the perfect fit and timing on your barrel, a detail that matters when accuracy is on the line.
One critical point: AAC Blackout brakes are built for AAC's 90-tooth suppressors only. If you're thinking about pairing this with a different can down the road, you'll need to verify compatibility beforehand. For dedicated Mk13-SD or 300-SD users, it's a straightforward install that consolidates your suppressor system into one reliable platform.
| Caliber | 7.62mm |
| Thread Pitch | 5/8"-24 |
| Material | Aerospace-grade steel alloy |
| Finish | SCARmor (matte stainless) |
| Mount Type | 90-tooth (AAC proprietary) |
| Compatible Suppressors | AAC Mk13-SD, AAC 300-SD |
| Included Accessories | Rocksett, shim kit |
No. AAC Blackout muzzle brakes are not compatible with silencers outside of the Mk13-SD and 300-SD. If you're running a different suppressor, you'll need a different mounting solution.
The brake comes with Rocksett (a threadlocker designed for muzzle devices) and a shim kit, both essential for proper installation and timing alignment with your suppressor.
The brake features a 5/8"-24 thread pitch, the standard for most 7.62mm rifle applications.
Yes, muzzle brakes reduce recoil impulse and muzzle rise even when used standalone. However, this brake is specifically engineered as a suppressor mount, so its primary function is repeatable mounting of your Mk13-SD or 300-SD.
