Acme Baits
The Acme Little Cleo 1/3oz Chrome spoon is a compact, versatile casting lure that's earned its place in tackle boxes for decades. This chrome-finished spoon delivers a proven track record across a wide range of freshwater and saltwater gamefish—salmon, steelhead, trout, pike, bass, and walleye all respond to its distinctive action. The 1/3-ounce weight makes it easy to cast and control in shallow to moderate depths, ideal for anglers working streams, rivers, and small to medium lakes where precision and a natural presentation matter.
What sets the Little Cleo apart is its signature hump-backed profile, which produces a seductive, life-like wiggling motion as it moves through the water. That erratic side-to-side flutter triggers predatory instincts in fish that might ignore a straight-swimming hard bait. Whether you're working current breaks in a trout stream, casting along weed lines for pike, or prospecting rocky points for walleye, the spoon's responsive action works in a variety of conditions and water speeds.
Chrome plating reflects available light and mimics the flash of baitfish, making the spoon visible in darker water or stained conditions. Its compact size keeps it lightweight enough for accurate, distance casting on lighter tackle, yet heavy enough to punch into wind and reach deeper zones. The Little Cleo is equally at home in the hands of a panfish angler experimenting with something different or a serious trout specialist looking for a reliable, proven pattern.
