Yum Baits
The Yum Christie Craw 3.5" soft plastic is a compact crawfish imitation designed by Elite pro Jason Christie for serious flipping, pitching, and jig fishing. At 3.5 inches, this craw balances profile and versatility—small enough for precise pitches into tight cover but substantial enough to call bigger fish. Each pack contains 8 baits in Watermelon Red Flake, a natural color pattern that works year-round across freshwater conditions.
What sets the Christie Craw apart is its aggressive action design. The claws are engineered with thicker plastic at the ends to generate maximum movement on the fall and during the retrieve, mimicking the defensive posture and erratic swimming of a real crawfish. That same flailing action also imitates fleeing baitfish, giving you a dual-purpose bait that appeals to a wider range of predators. Whether you're working it on the bottom or letting it helicopter down through the water column, the claws do the work for you.
This bait excels as a jig trailer, where its built-in action complements the hopping and dragging motion of a football head or stand-up jig. It's equally effective as a standalone Texas-rigged option for flipping docks, laydowns, and grass. The Watermelon Red Flake finish blends naturalism with visibility—it's a go-to choice for clear to slightly stained water and works in all seasons.
If you flip and pitch year-round or rely on jig trailers to finesse pressured bass, the Christie Craw delivers the action and durability you need in a proven, compact package.
The Christie Craw works as both a standalone soft plastic and a jig trailer. For flipping and pitching, Texas rig it into heavy cover. As a trailer, pair it with a jig head for hopping along the bottom or working through structure. The built-in claw action does most of the work, so let it fall naturally and work at a pace that lets the claws move freely.
This pack comes in Watermelon Red Flake, a natural crawfish-imitating finish that combines red and black flake patterns. It's a versatile choice for clear to slightly stained water and performs well in all seasons.
Each pack contains 8 baits.
Yes. The hyper-action claws make it an excellent jig trailer. The aggressive movement during the fall and on the pause adds appeal and mimics a crawfish trying to escape, which complements jig presentations well.
