Yankee Hill Machine
The YHM Bad Larry Sound Suppressor Cover 6.3\" offers serious heat management for shooters running suppressed rifles. If you've dealt with standard suppressor wraps that creep, slip, or lose their grip during sustained fire, you know how annoying it is to break focus and adjust your cover mid-shot. Yankee Hill Machine engineered the Bad Larry cover around a locking strap system that actually keeps the cover anchored to your suppressor—no sliding, no fidgeting. The design is purpose-built for the Bad Larry suppressor and compatible with other YHM cans up to 6.3\" in diameter.
Heat management is the real story here. The interior sleeve is rated to 3000°F and bonds to your suppressor without slipping under thermal stress. The middle layer handles 1800°F, and the outer shell is 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon—the same material you'll find on high-end tactical gear. It's water-resistant, resists abrasion and fading, and won't rot or mildew in field conditions. Even the thread is fire-rated, because YHM doesn't cut corners. That said, this cover excels in normal shooting scenarios; extreme sustained fire—particularly on short-barreled 5.56 rifles (under 14") pushing maximum heat into the suppressor—can eventually push temperatures beyond the cover's rated limits. For most hunters, shooters, and precision rifle work, you won't hit that ceiling.
At 6.5 inches in length, it's sized to fit snugly without excess fabric. The locking strap system is the difference-maker: you get repeatable, secure retention that lets you focus on shooting instead of babysitting your gear. Whether you're running drills at the range, hunting in wet conditions, or doing precision work where every second counts, the Bad Larry cover stays put.

Yes. The locking strap retention system is designed to keep the cover anchored to your suppressor and prevent it from sliding or shifting during fire. This is a key advantage over traditional loose-fitting suppressor wraps.
The cover is rated for typical hunting and range shooting. Extended, sustained high-volume fire—especially on short-barreled rifles under 14 inches—can generate extreme suppressor temperatures that may eventually exceed the cover's thermal ratings. For normal shooting scenarios, the cover performs reliably.
The outer shell is 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon, which is water-resistant, resists abrasion and fading, and won't rot or mildew. Combined with fire-rated thread, the cover is built to handle wet and harsh field conditions.
