Yankee Hill Machine
The Yankee Hill Machine Tactical Charging Handle Latch for AR-15 and LR-308 platforms solves a real problem: accessing your charging handle when you've got a scope mounted or you're running heavy gloves. This steel replacement latch gives you significantly more surface area to grip, making it easier to rack the bolt under field conditions. It's a straightforward upgrade that makes your rifle more shootable in practical scenarios.
The latch is machined from steel and finished in Melonite—a durable, corrosion-resistant coating that wears well and looks professional. The expanded design means you won't fumble or fight to charge your rifle when seconds count, whether you're at the range, in the field, or working through a tactical course. It's the kind of small upgrade that delivers outsized convenience.
Installation is straightforward on any standard AR charging handle. This is the latch component only—you'll use your existing charging handle tube, and you'll need a roll pin to secure it. The whole thing weighs just 0.6 ounces, so there's zero penalty for the added utility.
