Yankee Hill Machine
The Yankee Hill Machine Fat Cat 5.56mm suppressor with SRX mount delivers genuine sound reduction in a remarkably compact package designed for modern AR platform rifles. Built for shooters who refuse to compromise between portability and performance, this suppressor combines precision engineering with materials chosen specifically for durability and consistent tone. Whether you're running drills at the range, hunting varmints, or training with an AR-15, the Fat Cat's balance of size and suppression makes it a practical choice for serious shooters who need hearing protection without adding unnecessary length to their rig.
Construction matters in suppressors, and Yankee Hill Machine isn't cutting corners here. The body is 17-4 stainless steel paired with a heat-treated 718 Inconel blast baffle—a combination that provides full-auto rating and stands up to the kind of rigorous, sustained use that separates field-tested gear from bench queens. That robust construction is what backs the company's Limited Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty on all YHM products. The fat cat's larger 1.94-inch diameter creates internal volume that's unusual for a suppressor this short, which is why it produces a noticeably lower, more pleasant tone than you'd expect from something designed to stretch only 4.5 inches on a barrel with the SRX adapter installed.
The SRX mount included with this suppressor uses a 1-3/8-24 HUB interface and is compatible with Yankee Hill's ecosystem of quick-attach components. You get two suppressor tools in the box to handle installation and maintenance. At 12.5 ounces with the adapter, it won't slow your gun's handling, and at 141 dB average sound pressure level at the muzzle, it delivers genuine ear-protection-level suppression. The Fat Cat requires a minimum 10-inch barrel for 5.56 NATO—well within spec for nearly every modern AR upper out there.
If you want to personalize it, Yankee Hill offers an optional replacement end cap (the YHM-2210) featuring the company's signature Cat's Ass design. It's a small detail that says a lot about YHM's approach: solid engineering paired with a sense of humor.

You'll need a minimum 10-inch barrel for 5.56 NATO.
You get the suppressor body with the mini SRX mount already installed, plus two suppressor service tools to help with installation and maintenance. The SRX mount uses a 1-3/8-24 HUB interface for attachment to compatible host rifles.
Yes, the Fat Cat is full-auto rated. Its 17-4 stainless steel body and heat-treated 718 Inconel blast baffle are built to handle sustained, rigorous use—though most civilian shooters will be using it on semi-auto platforms.
Yankee Hill offers an optional replacement end cap (model YHM-2210) featuring their Cat's Ass design if you want to customize the look. Check Yankee Hill's current accessories to confirm compatibility with your specific model.
