XS Sights
If you run a Henry Big Boy in .357 Magnum, an XS Sights Ghost Ring Sight Set gives you a fast, reliable aiming solution built for real-world hunting and sport shooting. This black steel rear sight and white-stripe front sight combination replaces your factory open sights with precision-machined components that are fully adjustable for windage and elevation, letting you dial in your rifle exactly where you need it.
Ghost ring sights excel when speed matters. The large aperture rear ring gives you a wider field of view than traditional buckhorn sights—critical in brush, timber, or when game moves fast. The white stripe down the front sight contrasts sharply against game animals and dark backgrounds, making sight picture acquisition faster in low light, dawn, or dusk conditions. This sight set is machined from steel and built to handle the rigors of hunting and repeated shooting without losing zero.
The .357 Magnum version fits Henry Big Boy carbines with a dovetailed front sight cut directly into the barrel. Installation is straightforward enough for a handy shooter to manage at home. The set includes two rear aperture options—a .230" ID and .191" ID—so you can choose the one that works best for your eyes and shooting distance. That flexibility means you're not locked into one sight picture; you adjust to the conditions, not the other way around.
Built in the USA to match the quality of your American-made Henry rifle, these sights are a logical upgrade if you're moving beyond factory irons or want a sight picture that works harder in the field than standard open sights.

The set includes both a 0.230" ID and 0.191" ID rear aperture. You can swap between them depending on your hunting conditions or range distance.
Yes, XS Sights designs these sets for DIY installation. The front sight dovetails directly into the barrel without gunsmithing. If you're comfortable working on your rifle, you can handle the swap. If you're unsure, a gunsmith can install it quickly.
Ghost ring sights offer a larger field of view and faster sight acquisition than traditional buckhorn or post-and-notch sights. The large aperture naturally centers your eye and sight picture, which speeds up target alignment—especially valuable in hunting scenarios where shots happen quickly. The white stripe front sight also provides superior visibility in poor lighting compared to plain steel blades.
