XS Sights R3D 2.0 night sights for the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 give you a serious upgrade over factory sights—especially if you rely on your Bodyguard for everyday carry or personal defense. These are second-generation tritium sights built around the core idea that you need to see your sights fast, whether you're shooting in daylight or after dark. The R3D platform uses a combination of tritium illumination and photoluminescent material to stay visible when it counts, and the design emphasizes what matters: a clean sight picture downrange and reliable performance through years of daily use.

Installation is notably easier than the first-generation design—XS engineered the R3D sights to require 50% less force to install, which means you can fit them yourself without struggling or worrying you'll damage the gun. The standard-height design fits the Bodyguard 2.0's slide properly and maintains consistent point of impact with your carry ammunition. The sights are finished in Black Nitride, a corrosion-resistant coating that holds up to sweat, weather, and the occasional neglect that comes with a gun that lives in a holster or a nightstand.

The sight picture itself is traditional 3-dot—a high-contrast, serrated rear notch with a blacked-out field to cut glare, paired with a dual-illuminated front dot. The wide rear notch is designed for fast target acquisition, while the tritium elements glow in darkness and the photoluminescent backing absorbs ambient light to stay visible in low-light situations. Made in Fort Worth, Texas, these sights are built to handle the kind of daily abuse that an EDC gun actually receives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these night sights compatible with the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0?

Yes, these XS Sights R3D 2.0 are engineered specifically for the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 and come in standard height to match that platform.

How difficult is installation?

XS redesigned the R3D sights to require 50% less installation force than the previous generation, making them much easier to install without gunsmith help. You'll need a sight pusher tool, but the reduced force means less risk of damage and less frustration during the process.

Will these sights glow in the dark?

Yes. The sights use tritium for continuous glow and photoluminescent material that absorbs ambient light, so they'll be visible in low-light and nighttime conditions, as well as in daylight with the high-contrast notch-and-post design.

What comes in the set?

The set includes the front and rear night sights with tritium and photoluminescent illumination, ready to install on your Bodyguard 2.0.
