The XS Sights Lever Rail for Henry .45-70 is a Picatinny-spec aluminum mounting rail purpose-built for Henry steel-frame carbines chambered in .45-70. If you're running XS Ghost Ring Sights on your Henry or want to add an optic without permanent modification, this lever rail bolts directly to your rifle's receiver, giving you a rock-solid platform for scopes, red dots, LPVOs, or scout scopes. It's the kind of accessory that transforms a lever gun into a genuinely versatile shooter.

Built from aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with hard anodizing, this rail is engineered to handle hard use in any weather. The lightweight design won't throw off your rifle's balance, and the mil-standard 1913 slot pattern means you can mount virtually any optic or sight you own. Because XS designed this rail specifically for Henry .45-70 steel receivers with round barrels, fitment is precise—no guessing, no modifications needed.

Whether you're setting up a dedicated hunting rifle, a range gun, or just want the flexibility to swap between iron sights and glass, this lever rail unlocks options that don't exist on the standard receiver. Fort Worth–manufactured, it's a no-fuss upgrade that respects what makes a lever gun great while opening up modern sighting solutions.

Because receiver dimensions and barrel contours vary by caliber, this rail is caliber-specific and will only work on .45-70 models with steel frames. If you have a different Henry caliber or aluminum receiver, a different rail would be needed.

What optics can I mount on this rail?

The Picatinny rail accepts any optic or sight with mil-standard 1913 slots, including conventional rifle scopes, low-power variable optics (LPVOs), scout scopes, and red dot sights. Your options are wide open.

Do I need this rail to use XS Ghost Ring Sights?

Yes, the XS Lever Rail is required when installing XS Ghost Ring Sights on your Henry .45-70. It provides the mounting platform those sights need.

How durable is the aluminum construction?

The rail is built from aircraft-grade aluminum with a hard anodized finish, designed to withstand regular use and exposure to the elements without degradation.
