Wildlife Research
The Wildlife Research Active Branch scent spray is a 3oz aerosol designed to trigger deer interaction at natural licking branches, rubs, and scrape sites—or at mock setups you create yourself. If you hunt whitetail, you know that deer communicate and mark territory through these high-traffic spots, and Active Branch capitalizes on that behavior by mimicking the scents that draw bucks and does to investigate and interact. It's a straightforward tool for hunters who want to amplify activity in areas where deer already congregate or where you've established your own mock rubs and branches.
Active Branch works best when applied directly to branches or rub sites where you expect deer traffic. The aerosol format makes application quick and precise, whether you're setting up a natural feature or a mock structure in your hunting area. Many hunters use it near scrapes to reinforce the scent signature that brings deer in for closer inspection and longer exposure—critical moments for a hunting opportunity.
This is a no-nonsense scent tool, not a silver bullet. Like all deer scents, it performs best when you're already hunting sign-rich areas and you've done the footwork to find or create those interaction sites. Use it as part of a larger pre-season or in-season scouting and setup strategy, and it becomes a reliable way to add another sensory layer to your stand location.
Active Branch is a deer scent spray that mimics the natural compounds deer use to communicate at licking branches, rubs, and scrapes. Use it during pre-season to establish or reinforce mock sites, or during the hunting season to increase activity at existing sign in your hunting area.
You can use it at natural licking branches, rubs, and scrapes on your property. Many hunters also create mock branches and mock rubs specifically to apply Active Branch and control where and how deer interact with the scent.
Active Branch works best when combined with sound scouting and site selection. It's designed to amplify activity at locations where deer already pass or where you've identified sign, not to draw deer from far away to an arbitrary spot.
The product information provided does not specify coverage area or how many applications one can typically get from a 3oz bottle. Contact us for specific guidance on how many rubs or branches you can treat with one aerosol.
