The WR Mega Tarsal Plus deer attractant is a concentrated scent lure designed to trigger aggressive responses from dominant bucks during the hunting season. This 1oz bottle combines tarsal gland secretions with urine compounds, plus an proprietary musk formulation that appeals to territorial behavior in whitetail deer. It's formulated to be effective from early fall through the rut, making it a versatile tool for bowhunters and rifle hunters looking to draw bucks into range or encourage them to investigate scrapes and trails near your stand.
Tarsal-based lures work by mimicking the scent communication bucks use to establish dominance and mark territory. The Mega Tarsal Plus formula is built on this proven principle, but adds the complexity of competing urine and a specialized musk component designed to trigger a stronger response than tarsal scent alone. This multi-scent approach can be especially effective when hunting over scrapes, along travel corridors, or during the pre-rut and rut phases when bucks are actively competing and patrolling.
Like all deer attractants, success depends on proper application, wind direction, and hunting during active deer movement. A little goes a long way with concentrated formulas—this 1oz bottle is compact enough to carry multiple applications' worth in your pack. Whether you're hunting from a stand, stalking, or working scrape lines, having a reliable territorial intrusion scent on hand gives you another advantage in the field.
