Woox
The Woox Bad Boy is a fixed-blade knife built around a 3.75" D2 steel blade and a handle that blends classic American walnut with durable Micarta. D2 is a high-carbon tool steel known for holding a sharp edge and resisting corrosion reasonably well for a steel in its class—a solid choice for a general-purpose field knife that won't demand constant maintenance. At 7.37" overall length, it sits in the sweet spot for camp work, processing game, or everyday outdoor tasks: long enough to handle real jobs, compact enough to pack and carry without bulk.
The handle design pairs American walnut with Micarta in an X-Grip configuration. Walnut brings warmth and a classic feel (and natural grip texture), while Micarta adds structural toughness and resistance to moisture and temperature swings. That combination gives you a knife that's comfortable in hand and built to last through seasons of hunting camps, fishing trips, and backcountry work. The plain blade edge—no serrations—is easier to maintain sharp and gives you clean, controlled cuts across a range of materials.
Woox knives punch above their price point in the mid-range market. The Bad Boy delivers practical blade geometry, proven steel, and honest handle construction without pretense. This is a knife that works—whether you're breaking down camp, processing fish, or handling a dozen camp chores where a reliable sharp edge matters.

D2 is a high-carbon tool steel that holds a sharp edge well and resists corrosion reasonably well for its class. It's a proven choice for camp knives and field work where you want edge retention without the finicky maintenance of premium stainless alloys. It does require occasional care to prevent rust, but rewards that attention with reliable performance.
Yes. The 3.75" blade length and plain edge make it well-suited to camp and field butchering tasks. The D2 steel holds a sharp edge through repetitive cuts, and the handle design gives you control and comfort during detail work.
The handle combines American walnut with Micarta in an X-Grip design. Walnut provides natural grip texture and classic aesthetics; Micarta adds toughness and resists moisture and temperature changes. Together they create a handle that's both comfortable and built to endure field conditions.
At 7.37" overall, the Bad Boy is compact enough to pack easily in a field bag, camp kit, or gear system without taking up much space, yet the 3.75" blade is substantial enough to handle real cutting tasks.
