The WMD Guns NiB-X Finish Bolt Carrier Group without Hammer is a precision-machined upper receiver component built to mil-spec dimensions and coated with WMD's proprietary nickel boron finish. This bolt carrier group is engineered for shooters who demand reliability, low maintenance, and smooth cycling—whether you're running high-volume practice at the range, competing in multi-gun events, or building a duty-grade AR platform. The NiB-X coating transforms a standard carrier into a slicker, more corrosion-resistant component that cuts cleaning time and keeps your rifle running clean.

The nickel boron finish is substantially harder than chrome and resists abrasion and corrosion far better than traditional parkerizing or phosphate. Because the surface is so smooth, carbon fouling doesn't bond to it the way it does to bare steel—you'll spend less time scrubbing and more time shooting. That low-friction characteristic also means smoother bolt cycling and reduced wear on your receiver over tens of thousands of rounds.

This version ships without a hammer, making it ideal if you're upgrading an existing rifle or sourcing components for a custom build. If you prefer a complete matched set with a NiB-X coated hammer for maximum smoothness throughout the firing cycle, WMD offers that option separately. Built to government M16 specifications, this carrier works in any standard AR-15 or M16 platform rifle.
