Wmd Guns
The WMD Gas Tube Pistol Length Nitromet is a purpose-built gas tube for AR-platform pistol builds and short-stroke systems. If you're assembling a pistol-caliber or short-barreled AR, you need the right gas system tuning—and that starts with a quality gas tube. WMD Guns' pistol-length offering is Nitromet-treated for enhanced corrosion resistance and a consistent black finish that matches modern rifle builds. Whether you're putting together a 300 Blackout upper, a 9mm AR, or a compact tactical platform, this tube is engineered for reliable operation in compact configurations.
Nitromet processing adds real durability where it counts: the tube resists salt-air corrosion, carbon fouling, and wear from repeated cycling. That matters in a part that sits at the heart of your rifle's function. The gas tube directs propellant gases back to the bolt carrier group, so it needs to hold up to sustained fire and environmental exposure without degrading performance or finish.
Assembly is straightforward—the roll pin is included, so you have everything needed to mount it during build or replacement. This is the kind of component that works quietly in the background once it's installed correctly, which is exactly what you want.
A pistol-length gas tube is designed for AR-platform builds with shorter barrels and compact receiver profiles, such as AR pistols, 9mm carbines, and short-barreled rifles (SBRs). It meters gas appropriately for these shorter systems to maintain reliable cycling and reduce back-pressure.
Nitromet is a surface hardening and corrosion-resistance process that strengthens the outer layer of the steel tube and provides enhanced protection against rust, carbon fouling, and wear. It also gives the part a uniform black appearance.
Yes, the roll pin needed for installation is included with this gas tube, so you have everything necessary for assembly.
This is a pistol-length gas tube designed for AR-platform systems configured with pistol-length gas systems. Confirm your build's gas system length before ordering to ensure compatibility.
