Winchester
The Winchester SXP Defender is a 20-gauge pump-action shotgun built for home defense and tactical shooting sports. This compact 18-inch barrel model chambers 3-inch shells and holds up to five rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber—plenty of firepower in a maneuverable package. The fixed cylinder choke and fully chrome-plated bore deliver wide, consistent patterns with buckshot and are equally reliable with Foster-type slugs, making it a versatile choice whether you're running multi-gun competitions or standing post at home.
Winchester engineered the SXP Defender for real-world handling. The composite stock and ribbed forearm won't shift in your grip during rapid fire or under stress, and the non-glare metal surfaces stay quiet and low-profile. At 6 pounds and 38.5 inches overall, this pump shotgun stays nimble in tight spaces—a significant advantage in a home defense context. The inertia-assisted action cycles reliably and feels smooth from shot to shot, and the brass bead sight keeps your reference point simple and fast.
If you're serious about 20-gauge home defense or looking for a faster-handling shotgun for three-gun matches, the SXP Defender delivers proven Winchester reliability in a form factor that favors control and speed. It's the kind of gun that rewards training and delivers when it counts.
