Winchester
The Winchester 94 Trails End Takedown in .450 Marlin is a lever-action rifle built on one of history's most proven platforms. If you hunt thick brush country for hogs or other fast-moving game, or you simply need a capable rifle that breaks down for transport—whether that's a backpack, ATV, or truck bed—this takedown lever action delivers the accuracy and handling that made the Model 94 legendary. The .450 Marlin cartridge brings serious stopping power in a compact package, and this satin-finished walnut carbine combines genuine usability with that timeless Winchester look.
What sets the Trails End apart is John M. Browning's original takedown mechanism: field-proven design that separates into two components—barrel assembly and stocked receiver—without tools. Reassembly is equally straightforward: mate the pieces and turn the magazine tube a few times, and you're back to a full-length rifle with no loss of zero or accuracy. That's genuine versatility for hunters who move camp, pack light, or need a rifle that fits confined spaces. The 20-inch barrel keeps overall length to 38 inches while the ported design and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad manage the .450 Marlin's recoil effectively.
Winchester's current production on this model incorporates button-rifled barrels (triple-checked for consistency), round locking bolt trunnions that ensure smooth lever throw, and thoughtful details like radiused lever edges and a top-tang safety you can see and operate without shifting your grip. Brass bead front sight and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight work right out of the box. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounts if you want to upgrade optics, and it comes with a knurled hammer spur extension already fitted so you can cycle the hammer cleanly even with glass mounted overhead.
Built for hunters who prize reliability, portability, and the honest feel of a lever gun—especially in country where brush is thick and shots are fast.

The result is a fully accurate rifle that breaks down to fit a backpack, bedroll, or vehicle storage.
Yes. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. It also comes with a knurled hammer spur extension already installed, which lets you cycle and decock the hammer smoothly even when a scope is mounted overhead.

The .450 Marlin cartridge and 20-inch barrel make the Trails End well-suited for hunting fast-moving game in thick brush.
