Wilson Combat
The Wilson Combat Shim Kit Mount 11/16x24 is a precision accessory designed for shooters running Wilson Combat's modular suppressor systems on .458 caliber rifles. If you're using a Rapid Thread or Flat Back suppressor interface, shims are essential wear items—they take up the space between your muzzle threads and the suppressor's mounting surface to ensure rock-solid concentricity and eliminate rattle. This kit gives you precision-ground shims cut for 11/16" x 24 thread pitch, the standard for .458 applications.
Shim kits are often overlooked, but they're the difference between a suppressor that shoots tight and one that wanders. Wilson Combat's precision-ground shims are engineered to stack cleanly, seat properly, and maintain their fit through repeated installation and removal. Whether you're swapping suppressors between rifles, troubleshooting concentricity issues, or simply replacing worn shims, having quality replacements on hand keeps your system running at peak performance.
Installation is straightforward: stack your shims to achieve the right fit between your muzzle and suppressor threads, then thread everything together hand-tight. This is a no-fuss upgrade that pays dividends in consistency, especially if you're running precision rifle or subsonic .458 loads where every tenth of a millimeter matters.
