Wilson Combat
The Wilson Combat 1911 Extended Magazine Release in stainless steel gives you the tactical advantage of lightning-fast mag swaps without compromising your grip on the gun. Whether you're running USPSA competition stages or training hard at the range, this oversized release button puts mag changes exactly where your thumb naturally rides, eliminating fumbling and lost time when seconds count.
What makes this release stand out is its thoughtful design for shooters who demand both speed and versatility. The extended button itself is removable—run it for competition and high-round-count training, then swap it off when you're carrying. The checkered face provides positive, tactile feedback even when your hands are wet or gloved, ensuring positive contact every time you need a reload. Since this is the release component only (no magazine catch lock or spring), installation is straightforward on any 1911 that accepts a standard release.
Wilson Combat engineered this in stainless steel with a removable stainless button, so it resists corrosion and holds up to hard use. The package includes an Allen wrench for installation and adjustment. It's the kind of no-nonsense upgrade that competitive shooters and serious practitioners gravitate toward—effective, proven, and built by a company that understands what works in the field and on the line.
