Williams Gun Sight
The Williams Gun Sight Rifle Adjustable Fiber Optic Rear Sight in green is a no-frills upgrade for hunters and shooters who rely on iron sights. This adjustable rear sight uses a U-notch design with dual green fiber optic dots for fast, confident sight acquisition in dim light, bright sun, or anywhere in between—no batteries, no electronics to fail. If your rifle has a standard Williams adjustable rear sight base, this blade slides in without drilling, tapping, or gunsmithing, making it a practical way to retrofit aging or backup iron sight systems with modern visibility.
The rear sight blade itself houses a single green fiber optic rod positioned in a U-shaped channel, delivering the classic 2-dot accuracy pattern. That design pairs naturally with a factory front sight or, if you want matching green fiber optic dots front and rear, a Williams fiber optic front bead (sold separately). The 3/16" measurement refers to the dovetail or mounting dimension; minor fitting may be needed depending on your rifle's existing dovetail geometry, but the intent is a drop-in replacement for most standard applications.
Fiber optic sights cut through low-light hunting scenarios—early morning, late evening, or heavy brush—where traditional metal notches fade into the background. The green dots are easier on the eye than some color options and stand out sharply against most natural and man-made targets. This is not a precision long-range optic; it's a mid-range, fast-acquisition tool for hunters working within traditional rifle-sight distances and shooters who prefer irons over glass.

Yes, this rear sight works with existing factory front sights. For a matched fiber optic setup, you can pair it with a Williams fiber optic front bead, available separately.
Fiber optic dots gather ambient light and glow visibly in dim conditions—early morning, late afternoon, or overcast days—where metal notches can fade into shadow. They also provide sharp contrast and faster target acquisition in bright light.
Yes, this rear sight can be used with a slide or ghost ring configuration if your rifle's base and sight system support that arrangement.
