Wildlife Research
The Wildlife Research 404 Golden Estrus Scent Reflex is a premium doe urine deer attractant designed to pull bucks during the rut. This 1 oz bottle combines natural estrus secretions with Scent Reflex technology—Wildlife Research's formula for triggering a stronger, more consistent response from rutting deer. Whether you're hunting over a mock scrape, working a food plot, or calling from a treestand, this scent delivers the biological signals that tell bucks there's a receptive doe nearby.
Golden Estrus has earned a following among serious whitetail hunters for a reason: it works when it matters most. The estrus scent is potent enough to be effective across distance and variable wind conditions, yet refined enough to feel authentic to a buck's nose. The 1 oz size is practical for spot applications on your setup or for frequent re-dosing during a long hunt—it's concentrated, so a little goes a long way.
Use it in the pre-rut, peak rut, or whenever does are in heat in your area. Apply to a rag, dripper, or scent wick near your stand, or lay it down around natural travel corridors and mock scrapes. The scent is meant to complement—not replace—solid hunting fundamentals: wind direction, stand placement, and patience. But when conditions align and a buck winds it, Golden Estrus Scent Reflex gives you the edge.

Estrus scents are most effective during the rut, particularly during peak breeding when does are in heat. Many hunters start using it in the pre-rut and continue through the peak, timing applications to when does in your area are receptive. Check your local hunting reports and doe behavior to maximize effectiveness.
The 1 oz bottle is concentrated, so you need only a small amount per application. A few drops on a wick, rag, or dripper near your stand is typically sufficient. One bottle can cover multiple hunts depending on how frequently you re-apply.
Yes. You can apply Golden Estrus to a wick or rag hung near your treestand, place it in a dripper bottle downwind of your setup, or apply it to mock scrapes and natural travel corridors on the ground. The key is positioning it so wind carries the scent to incoming deer.
The product information provided covers the 1 oz scent bottle itself. Check the package details or contact us for information on what application tools or wicks may be included or recommended for use with this scent.
