Wheeler Engineering
The Wheeler MSR Cantilever 30mm scope mount is a one-piece AR-15 optic mount designed to push your riflescope farther forward on the receiver, solving the eye relief problem that comes with modern magnified optics on compact platforms. If you're running a quality scope on your AR and struggling with proper sight picture or head position, a cantilever mount shifts the optical centerline forward—and Wheeler's design does it without compromise.
This is built for serious shooters: the six-screw ring configuration clamps down hard to lock your scope in place through recoil, and the 6061 aluminum construction keeps weight minimal. The integrated articulating bubble level helps you catch canting errors before they cost you shots at distance. Wheeler includes Torx fasteners for secure, repeatable assembly, and the matte black anodized finish resists glare and corrosion. The 2-inch forward cantilever offset is aggressive enough to dial in proper eye relief on most modern magnification levels without overcomplicating your rail real estate.
Picatinny rail mounts mean it bolts to any standard AR-15 platform receiver—your existing rails and hardware work with it. The 1.400-inch centerline height is tall enough to clear most dust covers and barrel profiles. This is not a budget component; it's engineering that keeps your scope stable and your shooting position ergonomic, whether you're hunting, competing, or running distance drills at the range.

Yes, the Wheeler MSR Cantilever is designed specifically for the AR-15 platform and is compatible with standard Picatinny rails. It will fit any AR-15 receiver with a Picatinny top rail.
This mount is designed for 30mm diameter scope tubes, which are standard on most modern hunting and tactical riflescopes.
A cantilever mount pushes your scope forward (2 inches in this case), which allows you to achieve proper eye relief—the correct distance between your eye and the scope's eyepiece. This is especially important on AR-15s where a standard mount may position the scope too far back for comfortable and safe shooting.
The Wheeler MSR Cantilever comes with Torx screws for installation. You'll need to mount it to your existing Picatinny rail and secure your 30mm scope in the rings.
