The Weaver Thumb-Nut SPR Optics 30mm Mount is a scope mounting solution purpose-built for AR-platform rifles. This 30mm mount combines the proven strength of Weaver's mounting platform with a forward cantilever design that positions your optic at the optimal sight line for AR-style setups. The thumb-nut attachment system offers straightforward installation and adjustment without requiring additional tools, making it practical for shooters who swap optics, troubleshoot at the range, or maintain their rifle in the field.

What sets the SPR mount apart is its integral recoil lug base design. Rather than relying solely on the picatinny rail to manage recoil impulse, the integrated lug takes on that job directly, reducing movement between the mount and rifle receiver. The result is more reliable return-to-zero after shooting—especially important if you're running your rifle hard or returning to a cold bore after days between range sessions. For tactical shooters, hunters zeroing new loads, or anyone who values consistency, that kind of precision matters.

The forward cantilever geometry is specifically engineered for the AR's rail system and sight radius. This positioning keeps your sight picture clear of the charging handle and handguard while maintaining the sight height that works best with standard AR ergonomics. It's a thoughtful design detail that makes the scope easier to mount, shoot, and live with on a working rifle.
