The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter in 22-250 Rem is a hunting rifle built on the reputation Weatherby earned decades ago: accurate, reliable, and finished with genuine walnut wood that feels at home in any field or stand. This 24-inch barreled rifle combines classic aesthetics with modern performance, offering shooters a sub-MOA capable platform that Weatherby backs with a three-shot group guarantee of 0.99 inches or tighter at 100 yards when paired with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition.

The Vanguard Sporter splits the difference between pure hunting practicality and the refinement serious riflemen expect. The Turkish A-grade walnut stock wears a satin finish and features a raised-comb Monte Carlo profile, while the barrel and receiver finish in matte bead-blasted blue—a combination that delivers both aesthetics and function. The rosewood forend cap adds a touch of detail that doesn't get in the way. At its heart is a two-stage trigger, adjustable down to 2.5 pounds, giving you control over the break when it matters. A three-position safety keeps things straightforward in the field.

The 22-250 Rem is a proven round for varmint hunting and lighter game at distance, sitting comfortably in the sweet spot between flat trajectory and recoil management. If you're building a deer rifle, steel-shooting rig, or just want a Weatherby that wears its pedigree on the stock, the Vanguard Sporter delivers the accuracy guarantee and handling that make it worth the investment.
