Weatherby
The Weatherby Vanguard SA 20 MOA black scope base is a precision mounting solution built for hunters and long-range shooters who need rock-solid optic placement on their Weatherby rifle. This base features a rear cutout design that gives you the flexibility to dial in proper eye relief and mount larger objective scopes without binding or clearance issues—critical for getting repeatable, comfortable scope positioning on your hunting or range gun.
Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, the base is engineered to handle the recoil of magnum calibers while maintaining zero through seasons of hard use. The 20 MOA cant built into this base is ideal for long-range hunting applications, giving you additional elevation adjustment room when dialing for distance without maxing out your scope's turrets. The base accepts standard picatinny and Weaver-style rings, so you're not locked into proprietary hardware.
Installation is straightforward: the included T10 Torx bit drives the #6-48 screws (spec'd for Weatherby Vanguard and Mark V actions) to a torque spec of 20 inch-pounds, ensuring proper clamping without over-tightening. This is the kind of foundational component that disappears once it's on your rifle—it just works, cycle after cycle, hunt after hunt.

This base accepts any rings that use standard picatinny or Weaver-style mounts, giving you broad compatibility with mainstream optic rings.
The 20 MOA incline tilts your scope's zero downrange, freeing up elevation adjustment in your turrets for true long-range hunting and target shooting. This keeps you in the middle of your scope's adjustment range even when dialing for extended distances.
The base ships with a T10 Torx bit for installation. You'll need to supply your own rings and ensure proper torque to the 20 inch-pound spec during mounting.
